About this file
This document outlines questions from a pre-solicitation site visit for an active vehicle barrier maintenance contract opportunity with the United States Air Force. The contract will provide maintenance and repair services for security equipment including bi-fold gates, drop arms, tire shredders, hydraulic bollards, and final denial barriers at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell in England. Services will include inspections, preventative maintenance, emergency response within two hours of a call, and routine repair services according to manufacturer specifications and commercial standards. Questions from attendees focus on the contractor's ability to meet the emergency two hour response time requirement and their assessment of the current condition of active vehicle barriers seen on the site visit. Responses to the five questions are due by email no later than July 18, 2019.
