As you may be aware, contractors received a temporary suspension on all MEC/UXO activities until a final notice is issued. MEC/UXO would be one of the major items in determining the price proposal for the subject RFP. As such, I am requesting to extend the bid by at least 2 weeks to get better understanding of this new requirement. Thank you.
Refer to RFI #1 above for further information and direction.

I wanted to clarify on a solicitation (AJJY 22-1058 Repair Tie Feeder Circuit P- 84 and P-85 AAFB, GU) in regards to the site visit requirements. I am trying to understand the verbiage with “Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where work will be performed in accordance with FAR 52.236-27.” Does this mean that it is mandatory and required to attend the pre-bid conference/site visit to bid on this exact RFP?
In accordance with FAR 52.236-27 (Alternate I), offerors or quoters are not required to attend the pre-bid conference/site visit to submit a bid for this IFB (Solicitation FA524025B0002). However, offerors or quoters are strongly encouraged to inspect the site where the work will be performed to ensure thorough understanding and accurate proposal preparation.
