No. 6 (New)

Question: Due to the high quantities of the padding materials, the manufacturer (Sangetsu Corp.) cannot produce and ship all of the quantities in one shipment. It would take around 15 separate shipments, one shipment per month (About 100 rolls per shipment). Also, would it be acceptable for the quantity of the vinyl flooring to match the amount needed for each shipment of the padding materials? (about 300 case of vinyl flooring per shipment)

Answer: No, the Government will accept a maximum of two (2) shipments for delivery of materials within one

(1) year of contract award. The amendment to the solicitation will be issued in order to update paragraph 3.2 of the Specifications document.

No. 7 (New)

Question: Due to the limitations of the production capacity, the completion of this project will take very long time (possibly over 15 months). Our concern is that if we are awarded, it would take very long time until we would receive the payment. Is it possible to divide the payment? (For example, divide the payment in 5 payments, the payment to be issued every third shipment.)

Answer: The Government will accept a maximum of two (2) shipments for delivery of materials within one (1) year of contract award. The amendment to the solicitation will be issued in order to update paragraph

3.2 of the Specifications document. The Government will accept two (2) invoice payments for receipt of materials delivered and accepted by the Government.

No. 8 (New)

Question: Due to the limitations of the production of the padding materials, would you consider to change quantity specified in the solicitation to smaller amount?

Answer: No. The quantities remain unchanged as specified in the solicitation.
