Text version
At each CCR, Transformer #1 or Transformer #2 can provide power to these units. As seen in Figure 2.4, there is an interlock between Power-I and Power-II. Power-
I is suppose to be fed from Transformer #1, while Power-II is suppose to be fed from
Transformer #2. Transformer #1 is providing power to both Power-I and Power-II.
Figure 2.4: Interlock between Power-I and Power-II at the CCR
The recommended setup is having Transformer #2 on and having it provide power to Power-II at the CCR and having Transformer #1 provide power to Power-I at the CCR.
Transformer #2 should be on to prevent moisture within the switchgear. The interlock at the Transformer #2 switchgear should be switched (see Figure 2.5). Therefore, Transformer #2 will be powering only Regulator Boards 4-6 and Transformer #1 will be powering only Regulator Boards 1-3. In turn, this will have Regulator Boards 1-3 feeding Power-I and Regulator Boards 4-6 feeding Power-II at the CCR.
