No. Reference (Sect/Para/Page) Question Government's Answer #1 N/A When does previous SABER Contract (which means ongoing SABER Contract) expire?

The present SABER Contract No. FA5205-07-D-0004 will expire on 6 Sep 2012.

#2 N/A Roughly speaking, when will we have to deploy our key personnel for this contract?

Middle of Oct 2011 or thereafter subject to award of the contract.

#3 Attachment 5 Model Project, Content 1, Scope of Work (SOW), Para. B.2.

Scope of work B.2. for model project indicates 'Replace lighting fixtures, electrical outlets, and fire detectors with wiring, conduits, and all other associated items.'.

Shall we consider guide lights and occupancy sensors are included?

Yes. Those are the “other fixtures”, and inclusive in the work in accordance with item 11 of the ABSTRACT in the Information for Drawing Preparation and Quantity Survey.

#4 Attachment 5 Model Project, Content 1 SOW, and Content 2 Information for Drawing Preparation

One outlet is installed with metal molding wiring (Exposed) at room 1004.

Shall we consider only outlet shall be replaced?

No. The existing outlet at room 1004 with wiring in exposed metal molding shall be replaced with new as specified in para. B.2. of the Scope of Work and item 11 of the ABSTRACT in the Information for Drawing Preparation and Quantity Survey.

#5 Attachment 5 Model Project, Content 1 SOW, and Content 2 Information for Drawing Preparation

Hand dryer with metal molding wiring (Exposed) is installed at room 1013 and 1015.

Shall we consider they shall be removed and reinstalled as wall tile shall be replaced?

No. The hand dryer with wiring in exposed metal molding is the “other fixture”, and shall be replaced with new in accordance with item 11 of the ABSTRACT in the Information for Drawing Preparation and Quantity Survey.

#6 Attachment 5 Model Project, Content 7, AutoCAD Reference, Template- Cover.dwg

Civil work is not listed on "DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS" of 35% drawing for sample project from Government. Do we need to submit civil work drawing?

Yes, civil work drawing(s) is/are required. The AutoCAD files are for reference only. The information on the cover sheet is not for any specific project, and the offerors are able to change the information as necessary.

#7 Attachment 5 Model Project, Content 1, SOW, Location Plan 2, Interior Work

As to sample project; SOW specify as "Repair latrines (Room 1014 and 1015)". However, according to the drawing "Repair Bldg. 653, Interior Work", latrines are Room 1013 and 1015. Which is correct information?

Per our review, the room numbers of the latrines are to be “1013 and 1015”, and those in para. C. of the Scope of Work are incorrect, as mentioned. However, the error in the latrine room number has no impact to the Government’s evaluation of the offerors’ Technical Proposal. Using the correct room number of “1013” is preferable, but the incorrect room number of “1014” is also handled equally.
