About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a rubber removal contract opportunity. The document addresses four key inquiries from prospective contractors regarding project execution and contract details.
Water disposal from the rubber removal process will occur at a Sanitary Sewer Manhole located off Red Fire Rd. adjacent to the contractor's staging area, at no cost to the contractor. Item 0006 on the Price Schedule specifies a quantity of 52,500 square feet (the price schedule description contained a typographical error listing 25,500). For material specifications, contractors must use Type II beads in accordance with FS TT-P-1325, as the referenced UFGS 32.17.23 standard does not include Type II beads. The contract is designated as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside, not an 8(a) set-aside.
