SUBJECT: Solicitation FA4890-14-R-0024, Industry Day/One-on-One Announcement, Registration and General Information for Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN>)
Training Support Services
1. The U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center
(ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA is developing an acquisition to support Counter Narcotics and
Global Threats (CN>) Training Support Services. This contract will support the Deputy
Assistant Secretary of Defense for CN>’s (DASD-CN>) missions around the globe, targeting terrorist groups worldwide that use narcotics trafficking and other organized crime to support terrorist activities by deploying CN assets, in cooperation with foreign Governments, to regions where terrorists benefit from illicit drug revenue or use drug smuggling systems.
2. ACC AMIC will be conducting an open forum briefing and one-on-one sessions 3-5
September 2014 in order to share information on the Government’s requirement and preliminary acquisition strategy, as well as to obtain Industry feedback. The Government’s briefing will be conducted at a TBD location in Newport News, VA. Registration will begin at 0815 and end at
0845 on 3 September 2014. Please limit the number of company representatives to no more than two (2) attendees. The briefing will begin at 0900, following this briefing, each company will be allotted forty-five minutes for the one-on-one session with the Government. One-on-ones will be conducted at TBD location in Newport News, VA. Please limit the number of attendees to no more than three (3) per session in order to facilitate effective one-on-one dialogue. The purpose of the one-on-one session is to answer questions and allow the Government to obtain specific feedback from your company’s representatives. Marketing/capabilities briefings are not authorized during the one-on-one session.
3. For our planning purposes, request you provide the following information if you are interested in participating in the open forum and/or a one-on-one session:
a) Name of Company
b) Name of each individual attending, his or her contact number and e-mail address
c) Specify if attending open forum and/or requesting a one-on-one session
Provide the above information to the CN> Training Org Box no later than 22 August 2014.
Request you use title “[Company Name] – Industry Day Attendees” in the e-mail subject line.
We will notify you of your scheduled one-on-one time no later than 27 August 2014. If you have questions you would like to submit in advance, please provide them to the above e-mail address no later than 22 August 2014. If you consider the questions proprietary, please clearly mark them as such.
4. Recommend you periodically check Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov) for pertinent information. The draft Performance Work Statement was posted on 11 August 2014 to further facilitate discussions.
