About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing contractor inquiries regarding background check requirements for a Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator position.
The document clarifies two key administrative requirements: First, the government will cover all costs associated with background checks and fingerprint processing, with submissions required within 20 days of contract award. Second, during the pending background check period (up to 60 days), the Coordinator must remain under Line of Sight Supervision (LOSS) of a cleared staff member when working with children. The government guarantees that cleared staff members will be available to monitor uncleared staff during the Coordinator's 12 core on-site hours to maintain operational continuity and compliance with security protocols.

Protestant RE Coordinator Questions Set 2

Yes. All costs associated with the background check are covered by the government.
While the background check is pending (up to 60 days), the Coordinator must remain under Line of Sight Supervision (LOSS) of a cleared staff member when around children.
