About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator contract recompete.
The contract is a recompete of FA488722P0004, previously awarded to Newpoint. The position is currently performed by a paid sub-contractor, and while the incoming awardee may hire the incumbent or select new personnel, transition arrangements will be negotiated between the awardee and current contractor. The Government accepts proposals where services are performed by qualified subcontractors under a prime contractor, with the prime maintaining full responsibility. The contractor must determine the appropriate labor classification under Wage Determination 2015-5469, Revision 30. The contract includes 1,040 annual units across CLINs 0001, 1001, 2001, 3001, and 4001, with each unit representing one labor hour, establishing 1,040 hours as the maximum annual quantity including all seasonal increases, Vacation Bible School (VBS), weekend events, and meetings. The Government provides a dedicated office, computer, printer, telephone, and internet access at the Chapel, along with all approved inventories, curriculum, teaching supplies, classroom materials, and VBS resources. An existing approved curriculum and electronic library are Government-provided and will transfer to the incoming contractor, who may add to the library in coordination with the Wing Chaplain and Lead Protestant Chaplain.
