About this file

This is a Vendor Questions and Answers document issued by the Department of the Air Force Contracting Office on August 19, 2026, addressing clarifications for Solicitations FA486126R0027 and FA486126R0028 for Aerobics and Power Cycling Services. The document clarifies four key issues raised by prospective offerors.

This is a recompete of existing contracts previously awarded to PS UNO LLC under contract numbers FA486122P0002 (Power Cycling) and FA486122P0003 (Aerobics), with the aerobics contract period running from October 13, 2021 through September 30, 2026. Prospective offerors must submit quotes via email to SSgt Riley Finn (riley.finn@us.af.mil) and Jessica Lavender (jessica.lavender.1@us.af.mil). For pricing and staffing purposes, the Government's requirement for CLIN 0001 (Base Period) is 416 aerobics classes annually, not the 655 classes referenced in the PWS Appendix B and combined synopsis, which represent only a historical maximum estimate. The Government will issue an amendment to align the PWS and Synopsis language with the SF 1449 CLIN quantity. Regarding representations and certifications, offerors may rely on active SAM.gov registrations in accordance with FAR 52.204-19, as FAR clauses 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 have been removed under the new FAR Overhaul and will be amended out of the solicitation.

Q-003

Class Quantity

Discrepancy (416 vs

655)

Question: There is a discrepancy regarding the annual number of aerobic classes. The SF 1449 Schedule of Supplies/Services (CLIN 0001) identifies 416 classes per year, while the PWS Appendix B and combined synopsis indicate approximately 655 classes annually. Which quantity should offerors use for pricing and staffing purposes?

Government Response: The Government’s requirement for CLIN 0001 (Base

Period) is 416 classes. Offerors shall price exactly 416 classes for CLIN 0001 mailto:riley.finn@us.af.mil mailto:jessica.lavender.1@us.af.mil

ID & Topic Question & Government Response on the SF 1449. The quantity of 655 listed in the PWS and Synopsis represents a historical maximum estimate of potential classes, but the actual anticipated requirement for the first year of performance is 416 classes. The

Government will issue an amendment to align the PWS/Synopsis language with the SF 1449 CLIN quantity.

Q-004

Missing FAR Clauses

(52.212-3 and 52.212-

5)

Question: Block 27a of the SF 1449 indicates that FAR 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 are attached, but neither provision appears in the posted documents. Can offerors rely on active SAM.gov registrations for 52.212-3, and will the

Government provide 52.212-5?

Government Response: Yes, offerors may rely on their active SAM.gov registration for the annual representations and certifications in accordance with FAR 52.204-19. With the new FAR Overhaul, both clauses FAR 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 have been removed and will be amended out of the solicitation.
