About this file
This document is a connection charge agreement template between a construction contractor and a utility privatization contractor regarding connecting facilities at Creech Air Force Base and the Nevada Test and Training Range. The agreement outlines that the construction contractor has a contract with the Department of Defense for a project requiring connection to the electrical utility systems, which are owned and maintained by the utility privatization contractor under a separate utilities privatization contract with the Department of Defense. The connection charge agreement specifies that the utility privatization contractor will connect the necessary facilities according to a statement of work, schedule, pricing terms, and other special provisions agreed to by the parties. Any disputes between the construction contractor and utility privatization contractor would be resolved between them without involvement of the federal contracts. The utility privatization contractor's relationship for the connection work is governed by the terms of its utilities privatization contract with the Department of Defense.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for a multiple award construction contract for projects at Nellis Air Force Base and Creech Air Force Base. No further details are provided about required products or services, response dates, pricing terms, or other salient information.
