About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity related to Building Automation System (BAS) troubleshooting and repair at Building 4607. The document addresses 12 clarification questions submitted by potential offerors regarding an exhaust system control project.
Key technical details include: the exhaust system contains 2 controllers and pieces of terminal equipment; control drawings and sequence of operations documentation are available for contractor review; the current Andover Continuum software version requires verification and the contractor will need all front-end access and credentials; there is a known communications failure that prompted the request; the communications bus topology and BAUD rate are currently unknown; and BAS drawings, network architecture, point lists, and sequence-of-operations documentation have been provided. The contractor's primary responsibility is to troubleshoot and correct the exhaust system operational issues and demonstrate to CE HVAC personnel that the exhaust troubleshooting has been resolved and the system is operational. No New Mexico electrical contractor licenses, journeyman, low-voltage, or other trade licenses are required. A site visit will be available before final pricing is submitted to support accurate firm-fixed-price quotations. Normal work hours are constrained to 0700-1600 Monday through Friday. The contractor will be responsible for loop checkout, system acceptance, graphics acceptance, logic acceptance, and instrument-calibration acceptance as referenced in the Performance Work Statement section 1.2(7).
