Questions and Answers
Question: CLIN 0001AP and respective option year CLINs, References Type II reflective beads to be used for street striping, Type II beads are no longer manufactured and Type I bead is the standard for most street striping projects. Please clarify.
Answer: Changes are reflected in the Revised Statement of Work and Bid Schedule.
Question: CLINs 0001AS, 0001AT, 0001AU and respective option year CLINs, all reference Type III reflective beads to be used on the Airfield. With this in mind there are no contract provision (CLINs) to use Type I beads on the Airfield. Type I beads are still an Air force standard due to the high cost of the Type III bead. Is it the Government’s intention to eliminate Type I beads from all airfield markings?

Question: In conjunction with the above question, CLIN 0001BL Pavement Markings On Airfield - Type III Glass Beads, when and how would this item be used?
