QuestionsAnswers
Will the Government be responsible for offloading and staging the lactation pods upon delivery? No.
Is the contractor required to provide offloading and staging?Yes.
Will the government provide a forklift for offloading, or is the contractor responsible for forklift rental? No. Contractor responsible for forklift rental.

Instead of an open ceiling we have a built in fire suppression system that complys with UFC 3-600-01 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities. Is that an acceptable solution? Having an open ceiling makes the pod not soundproof or as private making the pod less desirable for users. No, the only permitted fire suppression system is wet pipe. This would require the lactation pod to be tied into the facility's existing utilities, which is undesirable. UFC 3-600-01 also permits an open grid roof which would provide more privacy but allow for fire suppression.
