About this file

This is a Record of Protective Relay Test Results documenting the testing of a GE SR 760 multifunction microprocessor relay conducted by CEMIRT at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas on August 24, 2016.

The relay (Model SR 760, Serial Number B702723, manufactured in 2008) was tested for the A2 West Housing feeder at Alpha Substation using a Megger MPRT 8430 relay test set. Testing personnel included Mr. Willet and SSgt Miron. The relay was configured with Phase Time OC1 settings of 0.30 pickup current (x5) on an Extremely Inverse time curve with a 1.20 multiplier, and Neutral Time OC1 settings of 0.15 pickup current (x5) with identical curve characteristics. All pickup tests across all three phases (A, B, and C) resulted in passing measurements at 1.49-1.50 amps, within the expected range of 1.42-1.58 amps. Time overcurrent tests for all three phases at multiples of 2.00x, 3.00x, and 5.00x tap passed all tolerance ranges. The neutral pickup test measured 0.75 amps, matching the expected value within the 0.71-0.80 amp range. Neutral time overcurrent testing at 3.00x, 4.00x, and 5.00x tap multiples all passed acceptance criteria. The document includes Time vs Current graphs for each phase and neutral showing theoretical curves aligned with actual test points, confirming the relay's proper operational performance.
