RFQ Summary
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the U.S. Air Force (7 CONS/PKB at Dyess AFB, Texas) for maintenance and repair services on air and liquid cooling sleds used in support of critical systems. The RFQ ID is FA466126Q0004, issued March 24, 2026, with a deadline for quote submission of April 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. CST. The contracting officer is Taylor Norris (taylor.norris@us.af.mil, 325-696-2353). This is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) acquisition with no set-aside; however, the mandatory source requirement indicates small business participation considerations. The NAICS code is 238220 with a $19 million size standard threshold.
The scope of work includes removing and installing replacement 5110 LCS sleds, repairing cooling air sleds, providing preventative maintenance and repairs for air and liquid cooling sleds on a quarterly basis, and emergency repair services. The base period runs from June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027, with four optional one-year periods extending through May 31, 2031. Pricing includes base year CLINs 0001-0006 covering initial replacement and emergency repair services (with $7,000 and $10,000 not-to-exceed caps for Class A and Non-Class A certified emergency repairs respectively), followed by optional year CLINs (1001-1004, 2001-2004, 3001-3004, 4001-4004) with identical service structures. Quotes must include completed pricing pages, a Management/Technical Plan and Quality Assurance Plan (maximum 25 pages, Times New Roman 12-point, double-spaced), a copy of Class A Air Conditioning and Refrigerator License, and up to four Past Performance Questionnaires submitted directly by past clients. Payment terms are NET 30, and delivery is FOB Destination. Evaluation criteria are technical acceptability, price, and past performance on a best-value basis, with total evaluated price calculated by adding all CLINs including 50 percent of the final option period.
