About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for the 30 CES Annual Chiller Maintenance contract, addressing three key clarification questions from potential bidders. The RFI confirms that the pricing schedule should cover annual preventative maintenance for 22 air-cooled chillers over a contract year, correcting a previous document that erroneously listed 49 chillers.
The contract will have two Contract Line Items (CLINs): the first for annual maintenance and the second for parts replacement. The parts replacement CLIN will follow a process where the contractor submits a report detailing broken parts with a replacement quote, and the government will then decide whether to approve the additional work. Potential bidders are instructed to submit their answers in red, indicating this is an active clarification phase of the solicitation process for the Department of the Air Force Space Command's chiller maintenance services.

30 CES Annual Chiller MX – Requests for Information (RFIs)
Please submit answers in RED
1. Pricing schedule include 22 months was that a typo or are we pricing the annual preventative maintenance.
A1. Pricing should include the annual preventative maintenance of the chillers that would take place over the contract year.
2. Another issue we noticed is that the document says (49) air cooled chiller, in the meantime the list only contain 22 chiller are there an additional chiller that wasn’t mentioned on the list ?
A2. There are only 22 chillers that are included in this contract. The 49 is a typo/previous version.
3. We would like to ask about the repair and replacement, would we be giving a price to not exceed for all the chillers or that Each is for each unit ? Repairs and Replacement Parts (IAW Performance Work Statement paragraph 1.8)." Is this a dollar amount per hour, or an estimate for predictive repairs and replacement parts?
A3. There are two CLINS for this contract; the first CLIN is for the annual maintenance of the chillers and the second CLIN is for any parts that are discovered to be wrong during the annual maintenance. This was process would work by the contract submitting a report which details the broken parts and provides a quote for the material and replacement and the government would decide if it wants to proceed with that work.
