Comm Room Photos for building TO
Building TO involves the use of existing power plan to supply the new network equipment. The distance from the building/comm room door is approximately 50 feet. The distance between the power and network equipment racks is standard required separation. The network equipment will go in the associated rack in RUs 3-9 and 11-15 wire wrap panel will move up to create sufficient space.
Comm Room Photos for building GC
Building GC involves the installation of two new racks, one for DC power, one for network equipment, in a new row on raised floor. The rack installation will need rack/floor bracing as appropriate to meet zone 4 requirements. The following pictures include the stairway that equipment will need to move down to the comm room; removed raised floor tiles to show the under floor for power routing, cabling and support as required; the power panel from which the DC power plant will be sourced; and others that may be useful.
The Sentinel buildings are under construction and detailed comm room layouts are currently unavailable. With the exception of building GC (shown in the photos below) each location has the power and network equipment racks side by side. The rooms are green field, empty, and the racks will be on concrete floors. AC power panel position is not readily available.
