General Note: All numbers provided are estimates only. The Government is not liable for any miscalculations or errors. The contractor will be required to clean all items/areas as stated in the PWS and on the site maps. The contractor is responsible for validating all estimated numbers during the site visit for the purposes of preparing their proposal and the Government advises against using the numbers below as the sole means of building a proposal. As a reminder all interested parties must complete the required paperwork and submit a request to obtain the site maps.
1: Wave 50.1 is listed on two different Levels/Section (SL2 and N1). Can the Government please provide clarification if this is indeed the same wave on two different floors?
Answer: This was indeed the case (the sections of the facility are resused from the furniture installation contract). We can continue to track these areas separately or combine with neighboring Waves, at the Contractor’s discretion. For example, the Wave 50 areas on the north bar first floor can be cleaned in conjunction with Wave 16.
2: Wave 50.4 is listed on the Floor Plans Level/Section SL2; however it is not listed in the PWS: 2.5 Bid Tab. Can the Government please confirm 50.4 is NOT a wave that is included within the requirements, thus does not require to be completed by the Contractor?
Answer: Room confirmed to be excluded. The room is occupied and should be in the PWS 2.3 areas.
3: Wave 50, 96 and 99 are listed on the PWS: 2.5 Bid Tab; however they not listed on the Floor Plans. Can the Government please provide the location per the Floor Plans?
Answer: Wave 50 is the summation of the Wave 50 parts… 50.1, 50.2, etc. 50.3 is suites NL2.150 and NL2.152. NL2.150 is an excluded room per PWS 2.5. 50.1 and 50.2 are rooms N1166D/E/F/G and can be combined with Wave 16 if desired. See Q/A 1.
Wave 96 is the cafeteria and is in scope. Wave 99 is the atrium and is out of scope.
4: On Level/Section S1 there is an unknown wave on the back side of the Auditorium above Wave 8.3/V1. Can the Government please confirm if this is a separate Wave or should be considered a part of Wave 8.3?
Answer: The S1.100 suite referenced in this question can be included in Wave 12 or Wave 8.3 or simply referred to as S1.100, at the Contractor’s discretion.
5: Can the Government please clarify that if the plexiglass is mounted down by a Fixed Monitor Station, Contractor’s cleaning is limited to the outer surface?
Answer: Confirmed, if the plexyglass is constrained by a monitor mount, cleaning the accessible surface is the scope.
6: As plexiglass is a delicate surface, will the contractor be held liable for any damages solely due to any direct negligence by Contractor while cleaning the surfaces during the cleaning and re-install?
Answer: Yes and we will be adding a statement to the PWS to clarify that the contractor will be liable for any damages they cause.
