This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for furniture, fixtures, and equipment for Tyndall Air Force Base. The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is seeking proposals for office furniture including systems, seating, executive, conference, and weight equipment to outfit three facilities: ABM Sim, Fire Station 2, and WEG Large Boat. Offerors must provide itemized pricing and product specifications for the requirements detailed in the statement of work and attachments. Proposals are due by February 18, 2022. The anticipated award is a firm-fixed price contract. The government will evaluate proposals based on technical acceptability, price, and additional benefits using a comparative process. Installation is required for the furniture and scheduled to take place between April and October 2022, subject to construction delays. Payment will be made electronically through WAWF-RA.

SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding FA4507-22- Q-0002

QUESTIONS

1. QUESTION: Are we to include Installation cost within the CLIN 001, 002 003 total amounts, since there is no CLIN item(s) for Installation/electrician services cost?

ANSWER: Please identify the installation total separately but include as part of the total on CLINs 0001, 0002, and 0003.

2. QUESTION: RE: ABM SIM [TAG WS4] Panel Hung Workstation-The Spec Sheet calls for (4) divider panels, but (5) will be required to create the (6) Carrels

- See SOW Sheet below with BLUE markups:

ANSWER: The cubicle divider quantity should be 5 to make a total of six cubicles per side of the room. See Drawing Sheet IF-102

3. QUESTION: RE: ABM SIM [TAG FS1] Freestanding Desk-- For the Height Adjustable Desk Worksurface (66"W) , It is marked 30" D on the Layout section and 24"D in the Verbiage-Description. Is 30" D correct or 24" D for this component? (Please see markup from SOW below - Item Marked "1")

ANSWER: The depth specification for description #1 for the FS 1 desk assembly should be 66” w x 30” D x 1 3/16” H HP Plastic work surface w/ metal adjustable height support and electronic controls. Confirmed by measuring assembly FS 1 and FS 2 which is 72” w x 30” D x … Sheet IF-102

4. QUESTION: When proposing technically equivalent alternatives from manufacturers other than basis-design, we will select the closest color available in their portfolio to the basis finish. Will our proposal be rejected if exact basis-design color-finishes are not available? An overall Aesthetic-design harmony will be maintained item-to item with the finishes we propose.

ANSWER: No, the proposal will not be rejected due to not matching the color/finishes. The color scheme was simply developed to maintain alike furniture.

5. QUESTION: FIRE STA 2 [ITEM CODE SH-3 Open Shelving Unit]: Please provide Number of Shelves and confirm dimensions of unit. 36X x 67" H Does not match the image photo provided

ANSWER: On the drawings page I-101, 6 shelving units are shown in a 16 ft space. At three feet these shelving units will not fit. Suggested change from user is to utilize (5) 36”W x 14”D x 24”H for the space. This will accommodate the TV on the wall. Dimensions were wrong compared to final submittal.

6. QUESTION: WEG Boat Item T1 conference table dimensions are stated as 60"D x 192" L; Are the following Tolerances acceptable?

-54-60" Wide (Max 3" per side of table smaller) -186-192" Long (Max 3" Per end of table smaller)

ANSWER: Chair width based on item C-2 is 26.25”. Therefore, the suggested change of a min 54”x186” is acceptable

217) see drawing below (pic not to scale but measurements are):

8. QUESTION: Wegboat Item SH1 Roller Shades -SOW states "V.I.F"Verify in Field for Dimensions.

-We propose to use 42" W x 54" L for quoting purposes; is this acceptable?

ANSWER: Per the drawings, the facility has (7) 2’x2’, (5) 4’x4’. (11) 76”x128”, and (1) 76”x144” windows. We are requiring the roller shades for the following:

(3) 48” x 48”

(5) 76” x 128”

(1) 76” x 48”
