The wage determination applies to Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey and establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work performed in this geographic area. The document lists over 200 occupational classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates ranging from approximately $17.26 to $61.78 per hour. Major occupational categories include administrative support and clerical, automotive service, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations, information and arts, information technology, instructional, laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operation and repair, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs services, plant and system operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring and longshoring, technical, transportation and mobile equipment operation, and miscellaneous occupations. The determination requires fringe benefits of $5.92 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, or $236.80 per week/$1,026.13 per month) or alternative health and welfare rates under Executive Order 13786. Special provisions address computer employee exemptions, air traffic controller night pay and Sunday differentials, hazardous pay differentials ranging from 4 to 8 percent, uniform allowances, and conformance procedures for unlisted classifications. Employees are entitled to two weeks paid vacation after one year of service and three weeks after five years, plus ten paid holidays annually.
