Text version

Good Afternoon, Thank you for you inquiry into the pricing worksheet. After further review into your statement, “does not compute charges correctly”, it has been determined that this computation error was unable to be recreated. During out testing, all formulas within the excel sheet returned the appropriate answer. Please see the below.

Note: Only the cells highlighted yellow are intended to be filled in by the contractor. Other important cells will be automatically populated after, said, yellow cells are filled.

Example “Area 1 – Schedule I”

This is an example of how to properly fill in this worksheet. Please note that I will detail only one tab, however, this process can be repeated on the remaining tabs.

1. Step 1, populate your annual inflation multiplier in cell F3.

2. Step 2, populate the yellow cells located in Column H

For example, If I populate Column H with $5.00 as a place holder than the formula will be as follows: Column J * Column F + Column K * Column F + Column L * Column F + Column M * Column F + Column N * Column F = Estimated Total (or) $5.00 * 5 + $5.00 * 5 + $5.00 * 5 + $5.00 * 5 + $5.00 * 5 = Estimate Total ($125.00). As displayed by the below snapshot, the formula is returning the correct answer.

Note: Once a yearly inflation multiplier is inserted, the sheet will look something like this with each year being adjusted accordingly. For example, a 2% inflation per year will result in the following results.

This concludes our testing of the pricing worksheet. No inconsistences were discovered and the claim of computing issues was found to be baseless. Thank you for your inquiry.

Respectfully, Phillip Bragg Contract Specialist image1.png image2.png image3.png image4.png
