Amendment 01 to RFQ FA442726Q1138 – Bose Proflight Series 2 Headsets

This is Amendment 01 to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the 60th Contracting Squadron at Travis Air Force Base, California. The solicitation seeks 25 units of Bose Proflight Series 2 Headsets, Part Number 789812-5040, with 6-pin LEMO adapters under a firm fixed-price contract. The requirement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside and Brand Name acquisition. Offers must be submitted electronically via email to the Contract Specialist (Ellie Chen, ellie.chen@us.af.mil) and Contracting Officer (Joseph Restua-perez, joseph.restua_perez@us.af.mil). All equipment must be new; refurbished items are not acceptable. Offerors must hold prices firm for 60 calendar days from the offer submission deadline.

Evaluation will follow a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach, with the government reviewing offers from lowest to highest price. The lowest-priced offer will be evaluated first for technical acceptability based on the offeror's Technical Capability Statement, which must demonstrate sufficient capability to fulfill the Statement of Work requirements. Price will be evaluated for fairness and reasonableness, with price comparison between submitted quotes as the preferred analysis technique. Offerors must submit the Vendor Information and Pricing section, a completed Contractor Responsibility Verification form with supporting documentation, and a Technical Capability Statement. The Product Service Code is 5965 (Headsets, Handsets, Microphones and Speakers), and the NAICS Code is 334290 (Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing).
