Solicitation FA442721R0012 – Questions and Answers – Round 1
Question #1: Is the attached form the only form that needs to be submitted in order to be compliant to this solicitation?
Answer: Bid schedule listed in Section J must be completed and Section L lists what is required for Past Performance.
Question #2: Is there a checklist available indicating what must be included with our response?
Answer: No.
Question #3: The plans show replacing (2) generators with 450 KW units but the final specifications (Attachments 2a and 3a) show 550KW generators to replace the existing generator? Which is it?
Answer: The new generators will be 450 kW
Question #4: The bid documents state that a site visit can be arranged upon request? I am kindly asking for a site visit.
Answer: The site visit was held on 23 February per the solicitation.
Question #5: Is there a question and answer period for questions? To whom can questions be directed to?
Answer: Questions can be directed to SrA Ronald Aquino and Mr. Bryan Armstrong
Question #6: Can a class A general engineering contractor bid this contract as a prime contractor? What classification of contractor is required?
Answer: Yes a General Contractor can bid on this contract. Contractor must possess all licenses and certifications required to complete all work listed in the Statement of Work
Question #7: Is there a classification designation for this project. i.e. C-10 Electrical requirement. Can a class - A general engineering contractor perform the work.
Answer: Contractor must possess all licenses and certifications required to complete all work listed in the Statement of Work
Question #8: Do I need a bid bond?
Answer: A bid bond is not required.
