About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for an Air Show Tables, Tents, and Chairs rental solicitation. The document does not contain response dates, award dates, pricing terms, set asides, or federal agency information, as it addresses clarifications on technical specifications and administrative requirements only.
The requirement involves supplying 20 black/white metal folding chairs and frame-style tents with solid panel full enclosure sidewalls (gable ends not required) for installation on concrete surfaces. Tents must be certified to withstand sustained wind speeds of 60 mph with gusts up to 90 mph and require a minimum of 30 lbs ballast weight per leg; ground penetration/staking is strictly prohibited. No stamped engineering drawings, CMMC compliance, ADA-compliant seating configurations, performance bonds, or designated staging areas are required. Installation access is authorized beginning Thursday, April 30th at 0700 and must occur only during 0700–2000 base operating hours, with tear-down permitted starting at approximately 1730 on May 3rd. The finalized site layout (Appendix B) will be provided to the awarded vendor around March 31st. Heavy equipment access requires a gate escort, and all personnel must present two valid forms of identification with at least one Real ID-compliant card; all vehicles must carry valid current proof of insurance. The NAICS code is 532289, the Service Contract Act applies with a South Carolina wage determination, and vendors must maintain auto insurance for delivery trucks and liability insurance covering rental assets (tables, tents, chairs, and supporting equipment). Evaluation methodology is governed by FAR provision 52.212-2.
