Addendum 2
Temporary Swing Space
Repair HVAC Combat Camera Facility – B241
DKFX 14-1065
8 June 2018
Statement of Work
Provide all necessary labor and material to modify/repair swing spaces in building 247, located on the Air Base, and building 777, located on the Naval Weapons Station. The work must consist of, but is not limited to, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the modifications/repairs and all associated utilities as described herein.
Objective
The space in B247 and B777 must serve as a temporary locations for Combat Camera during the move, demolition phase, and completion the main scope of this project, until such a time that the
Combat Camera can relocate from the temporary swing space back to B241. These modifications must be completed prior to Combat Camera move.
Swing Space Modification/Repair
Facility Description: Space in B247, is located on the East end of the third floor. The space was recently used as swing space and is currently unoccupied. B777 is a former after school child care facility. It has been unoccupied for some time and is in a state of disrepair. The majority of the work performed under this addendum will be inside both buildings.

Life Safety: This space must comply with applicable industry codes (egress, aisle space) and base
Fire Department requirements. Contractor must submit documentation for compliance. Contact base Fire Department for inspection.
Fire Alarm: This space must comply with NFPA codes and base Fire Department requirements.
For bidding purposes, contractor shall replace a minimum of three (3) devices, and test system after devices are installed.
Additional Offices: Provide temporary walls and doors for three (3) new offices, similar to existing temporary offices. Size of office space to be the same as existing office (approximately
10’ x 12’). New layout will require no modification to lights or electrical. See attached sketch.
Electrical: Install additional electrical outlets/connections for computers. The number of additional outlets will be determined by limits of existing panel capacity, and furniture layout.
No new electrical panels are planned to be added. For bidding purposes, the contractor shall install three (3) clf of conduit and three (3) clf of wire, and three (3) electrical outlets.
Communications: Provide additional telephone, computer and CATV outlets based on furniture layout. For bidding purposes, the contractor shall install ten (10) clf of data wiring and three (3) outlets.
B777

Electrical: Install additional electrical outlets/connections for computers. The number of additional outlets will be determined by furniture layout. (at this time, base personnel only plan to use B777 for overflow) Add new panels and transformer if necessary. Provide electrical and disconnects for HVAC mini-split system in yellow tile room. Repair/replace ceiling light bulbs/ballasts as needed. Replace light lenses if current are worn/stained/warped/broken.
For bidding purposes, the contractor shall: install ten (10) clf of conduit, ten (10) clf of wire, five
(5) electrical outlets, and replace five (5) ceiling lights and 10 lenses.
Communications: Provide additional telephone, computer, WIFI, and CATV outlets as specified based on furniture layout. Provide conduits and wiring for AFNET and SIPRNet hookups.
For bidding purposes, the contractor shall install forty (40) clf of data wiring and nine (9) outlets.
Mechanical: Existing units require start-up, and may require repair/replacement of major components. Repair/replace components as needed. Provide startup, test and balance of existing system and make adjustments as needed. For bidding purposes, contractor shall replace
2 compressors, 4 fans, and 200 ft of duct.
Provide a 4 ton mini-split system for the yellow room. Location of the split system shall be as close to electrical connections as possible.
Roof/HVAC Leaks: Investigate/repair roof/HVAC leaks. For bidding purposes, contractor shall repair 300 sf of roof.
Finishes: The following must be completed to provide a usable facility. – Clean floors (tile, carpet, gym floor - ) and walls (remove mold/mildew) and cabinets – Paint walls (except gym) and cabinets (color - egg shell) – Replace carpet that can’t be cleaned - Core exterior doors to base standard – replace ceiling tiles after roof/hvac leaks repaired - provide pest control and seal possible routes of entry
Estimates are:
Carpet – 130 sy; Painting – 9000 sf; Ceiling Tile – 8,800 sf; Cleaning of Floors, Walls, cabinets
– 17,800 sf; Pest Control – treat and seal using over the counter products; and Core sets for 4 doors.
Parking: Paint/mark 4 reserved parking spaces along sidewalk. For bidding purposes – 200 sf of parking paint.
