Text version

1. What is the previous contract value?

A. The prior requirement was not the same requirement as what we are soliciting for currently.

As of 5 March 2018 $2,531,779.00

2. Have the requirements increased or decreased?

A. The requirement has changed/decreased from the previous requirement. Review the current SOW for the elements of the current requirement.

3. Typically the DCU filters are changed once a year. If the range usage increases or decreases this will need to change.

A. Per the manual (Action Target TCT4), it states every 4000 hours or 3 years, possibly up to 5 years, the filters need to be replaced. Current filters were replaced approximately 3 months ago.

4. Can we get photos of the target stand? Are they wood or metal?

A. See attached photos. The stands are metal.

5. Section 1.4 is confusing. Is lead management the removal of the drum of bullet slugs? Or are you asking for the full decontamination of the bullet trap. The full decontamination would be really expensive and uncommon. And the airmen do not trap on the backstop or bullet trap.

A. Lead management is the removal of the drum.

6. Are there requirements to clean the range?

A. There are no requirement to clean the range.

7. Please provide a photo of this.( 6"x 6" and deflection wall sections of wood located at front/side of bullet traps as needed.)

A. See attached photos.

8. Can we schedule a site visit?

A. A site visit is scheduled for Monday, 27 Aug 2018 at 0800. See Amended RFQ for further information and contact information.
