Please clarify “relevant projects” associated with the PPI’s (Attachment 11, in accordance with Section L).
Is the gov looking for experience that is only directly related to the sample project, or broader experience related to industry and facility construction, renovation, utility installation, utility repairs and site development?
The sample project entails various disciplines within the sphere of constructiont to include specialty work. See the solicitation as to the magnitude, complexity, etc. of the PPIs requested.

The SOW title indicates that the Sample Project is a Bid-Build project. However, SOW paragraph 1.3 states in part, “Contractor to prepare documents and submit for SHPO approval as part of the first design review meeting.” This statement seems to indicate that this is a Design-Build project. Please clarify prior to the site visit if this should be considered a Design-Build project or a bid-build/construction only effort.
This statement has been removed per Revision #1 dated 24 Aug 2023.

1. SOW item 3.1.19.7 references the existing wood subfloor and 3.1.19.8 references the existing floor joists about installing sister floor joist next to the existing. Item 3.1.19.7 states there is 2 layers of subfloor, but we are only removing the top layer. There is no good access into the crawl space to stock the new wood joists so in our opinion it would work best to remove both layers of subfloor or we are going to have to sawcut and demo some of the foundation for better access. Can you address how you would like us to bid this work?
SOW has been revised per Revision #1 dated 24 Aug 2023. Ref. 3.1.19.7.

The Demolition Floor Plan sheet 1 of 5 describes the scope of demolition for the building based on the floor plan however it doesn’t address the scope of demolition in the crawl space. In our walk thru yesterday there is ductwork, piping, romex cable nailed to the floor joist, etc… what is the intent of the demolition in the crawl space?
Demolition Floor Plan (1 of 5) General Note 9 states: Remove all existing electrical, plumbing, Phone, Data, HVAC, Gyp. Bd.
and Insulation. Interior of building should be reduced to a shell consisting of existing studs. This note does not diferentiate between above and below floor and would apply to all areas of the building.
SOW 3.1.15.1 calls to remove all electrical items from building.
3.1.16.1 calls to remove all HVAC components from building,
3.1.17.1 calls to remove all existing sanitary plunbing from building
3.1.17.2 calls to remove all exisitng supply water lines from the building

Demolition Floor Plan sheet 1 of 5 has a General Note #9 which reads “Remove all electrical, plumbing, phone, data, HVAC, Gyp. Bd. and insulation. Interior of building should be reduced to a shell consisting of existing studs.” I assume that means demolish/remove all romex wire or any other wire or other material nailed to studs inside wall cavities?
Correct, SOW 3.1.15.1 also covers the demolition of electrical items.
31-Aug-23
10 25-Aug-23 31-Aug-23 Will the government remove the loose furniture in the building, or will that be left for the contractor to remove and dispose?
Demolition Floor Plan (1 of 5) General Note 15 states: Remove all exisitng furniture, shelving and display cases.

Correct, no documents to currently be prepared.
