Completion Instructions Section A (Shaded in Gray)(Column A)
These are the skill sets from the collective bargaining agreement that will be used to perform this contract. The manager, supervisor, and work leader are not included in the CBA. An offeror may propose additional skill sets by adding them to the spreadsheet in the row under the work leader.
Section B (Non-shaded Area)(Columns B - AJ)
Enter the proposed number of personnel for the specified time. Time is shaded in orange and runs down the column using the 24-hour military time (e.g. 0730 hrs). The two shades of orange are used only to visually separate the columns. The table allows for 30-minute increments. If proposing more than one person for a skill set and 30-minute increment, enter the number of people in the block corresponding to the time and skill set (e.g. "1" or "2", etc.). If proposing only 15 minutes, enter ".5" in the block corresponding to the time and skill set. If entering only 15 minutes for multiple people in one skill set during a specific time, multiply ".5" by the number of people. An example of when you may want to enter only 15 minutes is for a cashier; you may want the cashier to come in 15 minutes prior to the scheduled operating shift to set up the cash register and get ready for customers.
Section C (Shaded in Blue)(Column AK)
Shows the totals the number of hours needed for one day
Section C represents the total proposed hours for each skill set from 0300 - 0230. Section C is automatically calculated and adjusted as data is entered.
EXAMPLE 1: The offeror proposes one Cashier/Clerk from 0400-0500 for Dining Facility X. Enter "1" in the Cashier/Clerk row under the 0400 and the 0430 time frame. The total hours (Section C) will automatically adjust to "1"
EXAMPLE 2: The offeror proposes two Cashiers/Clerks from 0400-0500 for Dining Facility X. Enter "2" in the Cashier/Clerk row under the 0400 and the 0430 time frame. The total hours (Section C) will automatically adjust to "2"
EXAMPLE 3: The offeror proposes a Cashier/Clerk from 0345-0815 for Dining Facility X. Enter ".5" in the Cashier/Clerk row under the 0330, enter "1" in the rows under 0400, 0430, 0500, 0530, 0600, 0630, 0700, 0730 and enter ".5" in the row under the 0830 time frame. The total hours (Section C) will automatically adjust to "5". In this same example, if you have 2 cashiers, you will enter "1" under the 0330 and 0830 rows and you will enter "2" for the other time periods. The total hours (Section C) will automatically adjust to "10"
NOTE: The color coded shading is for visual simplicity only. It has no other significance.
