About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA303026Q0003, concerning Air and Water Cooled Chiller Maintenance at Guam Air Base (GAFB). The document does not address specific response dates, award dates, or pricing terms; instead, it provides clarifications on operational and technical aspects of the solicitation.

Key details include: water hook-ups are available for coil washing, all chillers are located at ground level, and contractors must reference the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Contract Line Items (CLINs) for Eddy current testing timelines. This is a recompete of chiller maintenance previously awarded in FY21 under contract FA303021F0010. Serial numbers of chillers are provided in the PWS to allow contractors to determine equipment age, and Attachment 5 contains the GAFB Chillers Inventory, which identifies operational chillers requiring maintenance and will be incorporated into the final contract. For water-cooled chillers, most tubes are 5/8" in diameter, with the number of tubes varying by chiller tonnage—contractors must determine tube quantities using model and serial numbers. Points of contact are SSgt Cosper (Contract Specialist, robert.cosper@us.af.mil) and TSgt Elzara Kimalova (Contracting Officer, elzara.kimalova@us.af.mil).
