About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for solicitation FA303025Q0001 for Grease Trap Maintenance at Goodfellow AFB. The incumbent contractor is Doucet Plumbing, Inc. of San Angelo, TX, with a current contract value of $203,351.00.
The Q&A clarifies several key requirements: service hours are 0730-1600 and cannot be adjusted; inspection requirements were added to the PWS on December 12, 2024; hydro jetting is not required as vessels are emptied completely; repairs are not covered under this contract except for contractor-caused damage; and the scope includes 9 buildings total (4 monthly and 5 quarterly cleanings). The new contract differs from the incumbent's by moving two quarterly cleanings to monthly cleanings. This is a Small Business Set-Aside with no preference for SDVOSB companies. The government will execute modifications if interceptor sizes are found to be different than specified in Appendix A, or if interceptor locations change. Repairs beyond contractor negligence and interceptor relocations would be contracted separately.

The Government would execute a Modification to the correct size of the interceptors.
Would the Government be able to provide drawings and look at flow directions?
This may be possible, but would take time. The Government cannot guarantee that this would be provided during solicitation.
During the site visit it was discussed about repairs, will those be added to the SOW so that if repairs are needed they can be modified after a quotation?
Aside from repairs due to Contractor negligence, repairs would be contracted separately.
