About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for federal contract FA302226R0025, Building 730 Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) project.
The Q&A addresses seven key inquiries regarding project execution and specifications. Personnel requirements clarify that a single superintendent may fulfill supervision, safety, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) roles if fully qualified, with credentials submitted for government review post-award. Contractors must submit a contract-specific QA/QC Plan, though an existing company Safety Plan may substitute for a contract-specific safety plan. The project is not tax-exempt. Technical specifications address duress alarm system installation, requiring contractors to install two duress buttons—one in the larger SAPR Office on the North side of Building 730's hallway and one in the SAPR Office on the South side. The Vindicator Panel, located in room 152B across the lobby from button locations, serves as the termination point for duress signal cabling. The government provided an amended Statement of Work (SOW) and floor plans prior to bid due date clarifying these requirements. Door specifications indicate that new doors entering the hallway shall feature single-width frames without sidelights, differing from existing corridor doors with etched graphics.
