About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for a Bunker Conex Training Facility for the 365th Training Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. The project involves engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing a facility consisting of four to six shipping container-based bunkers, a covered area of approximately 5,600 square feet, and extensive fitness equipment. The equipment list is comprehensive, including 8 each of ski ergs, echo bikes, and rowers, 12 TRX systems, multiple kettlebell and dumbbell sets ranging from 5 to 52 pounds, various bars and plates, plyo boxes, medballs, sleds, and additional accessories like pull-up bars and resistance bands.

The facility's objective is to modernize Air Force physical training, providing a versatile space for conducting fitness sessions. The project will be located on the Ground Instructional Training Aircraft Ramp north of Hangar 1020, with specific requirements including a rubber floor, open-faced containers, and features like air flow flaps and transparent roof sections. The 82d Civil Engineering Squadron will not provide electrical support, so the facility will not include fans, lighting, or TVs. The contractor is responsible for foundation preparation, securing containers, and ensuring minimal damage to existing structures during installation.
