About this file

This document is an Attachment 5 - Questions and Answers (Part 2) for the FY25 365 TRS Alpha Warrior Quad Bunker federal contract opportunity (Solicitation FA302025Q0015). The Q&A clarifies key project details, including container configurations, equipment specifications, and site preparation. Specific clarifications include: the project cannot be bid as a lot price, 20' containers are optional, a steel-framed shade structure will cover 40' between containers, and equipment (pull-up bars, squat racks, kettlebell/dumbbell/barbell racks) will be stored inside containers and locked up after each session. The document also includes a layout sketch showing two near-identical facility configurations with 8'x40' containers and a 56'x100' central area, with minor site leveling potentially required.

Attachment 5 – Questions and Answers (Part 2) FA302025Q0015 – FY25 365 TRS Alpha Warrior Quad Bunker

The government has broken out each portion of the project into line items. Can this be bid as a LOT price for the entire project?

o No

Optional 20' containers – We’re confused on how this could be optional, if the intention is to have 100' of linear Connex' containers (40’ x 40’ x 20’) on each side?

o The 20’ optional containers was just another package idea. They are not mandatory. The 100’ would be everything under the roof structure.

Also, we plan to connect the container with a steel framed shade structure. Is the Government asking for 56’ wide or 40’ wide in between the containers?

o The shade structure would only need to cover the 40’. The containers aren’t required to be covered.

Equipment list Du els - Do you mean sandbags?

o Yes

Equipment pull up bars - We read this as 3 x monkey rig/squat rigs approx. 39' each going width wise between the containers?

o It won’t be a full-on monkey rig configuration. Basically, multiple pull-up bars to allow multiple members to utilize the bars at the same time.

Equipment Squat Racks - Monkey rigs/squat rigs have squat racks built in. Are you asking for 4 standalone squat racks as well?

o Yes

Equipment kettlebell/dumbbell/barbell racks – We’re assuming you want these integrated inside the containers for storage purposes? Or standalone outside the containers?

o Inside the containers

Is the government's intent to put the equipment away each day inside the containers and lock them up? If so, transition ramps should also be included.

o Yes, the intent is to stow and lock up the equipment after each session.

Is the current site location level, or close to level would any ground prep or leveling be required?

o Yes, the main site is level. However, there may be some spots that require minor leveling.

Any chance the Government can provide a sketch or simple layout of the proposed facility?

o Yes, see below:
