About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details the boilers replacement project for Building 1377 at JBSA-Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The project involves two primary tasks: replacing two Raypak boilers and one AERCO boilers in the facility's central heating system. The specific Raypak boilers will be Model H9-2069B with 2,070,000 BTU/HR output, gas-powered, 120VAC, with a 132 GPM max water flow. The existing boilers have reached end-of-life and were previously removed, necessitating a complete replacement to restore reliable heating for the administration office and surrounding dormitories.

The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation for a turnkey installation, following ASHRAE standards and 502d Civil Engineering Group safety policies. The project requires certified boilers technicians, will be completed within 30 calendar days of award, and work is restricted to normal duty hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday). The contractor will be responsible for removing existing components, installing new boilers with associated controls, retrofitting exhaust piping, conducting system treatment, and performing comprehensive testing to ensure full operational capability. A one-year warranty on materials and workmanship is required, with the contractor obligated to correct any defects within 24 hours of notification.
