About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) for RFQ FA301625Q0183 concerning a project at Fort Sam Houston Building 1062. The RFI provides key details about a potential HVAC/cooling system replacement in a data center, with several critical specifications: the project requires adherence to the Buy American Act, is not tax exempt, and involves installing new cooling units. Contractors will need to match existing DX piping (Hot Gas Line 1-3/8, Liquid Line 7/8) and only remove pipe insulation where necessary. The project has unique requirements, including installing units one at a time to prevent excessive heat in the data center, and all controls will be managed internally by the Fort Sam Houston EMCS team. The solicitation indicates no incumbent control contractor is currently in place, and Procore will not be used for document management.
