JBSA Lackland, TX 78236 Shower Trailers

STATEMENT OF WORK, Addendum 1 ADA MOBILE SHOWER/RESTROOM TRAILERS with Handicap Ramps

737th Training Support Squadron (737 TRSS)

Requirement Supports COVID-19 Operations 12 August 2020

1. SCOPE

This Statement of Work (SOW) covers requirements for the delivery and installation of Two (2) ADA Mobile Shower/Restroom trailers with handicap ramps (One Male and One Female).

Specific requirement is for two (2) trailers, each with a minimum of two (2) full bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and sink and a minimum of one (1) ADA compliant full bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. This requirement is for the purpose of supporting the 737th Training Support Squadron (737 TRSS), performing operations out of Bldg. 5570, 2239 Walker Ave.

Building 5570, JBSA-Lackland, TX 78236.

2. REQUIREMENTS

2.1. General Requirements

The contractor shall perform all actions outlined in the contract, involving delivery of the ADA Mobile Shower/Restroom trailers to the 737 TRSS. This includes drop-off of trailers to the designated staging area (see Attachment 01) Furthermore, the Contractor shall remove all packaging materials from the facility/trailers and JBSA-Lackland, upon completion of the project.

2.2. Installation

The contractor shall position the ADA Mobile Shower/Restroom trailers at the designated staging area (see Attachment 01).

The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, and manpower to accomplish the installation of the ADA Mobile Shower/Restroom trailers. The contractor shall also remove all packaging materials from JBSA-Lackland TX and shall be responsible for any refuse containers needed for trash and packing materials. The contractor shall be responsible for returning the facility/location to its original state prior to installation of the shower and restroom trailers and repairing any damage caused by the contractor’s personnel or equipment.

2.3. Delivery

Interaction between the contractor and their personnel with Basic Military Training (BMT) students (‘Trainees’ / ‘Airmen’) is strictly prohibited.

The contractor shall be responsible for off-loading items from delivery vehicles and shall provide any additional equipment to accomplish the task.

2.4. Site Program Manager/Point of Contact (POC)

The Contractor shall designate an on-site project manager as the Site POC. The Site POC or alternate(s) shall be available during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 0730-1630hrs - CST), until contract completion/government final acceptance. The Site POC shall be the interface for all work site communications with the Government, including quality, safety, and discrepancy matters.

2.5. Entry and Vehicle Control Requirements

Contractor shall comply with AFFARS Clause 5352.242-9000, “CONTRACTOR ACCESS TO AIR FORCE INSTALLATIONS (OCT 2019)” which is hereby incorporated by reference if not otherwise included. Contractor personnel shall comply with all on-base traffic regulations.

Parking will be located on the East Parking Lot of 5570, off of Walker Ave located on JBSA – Lackland AFB, TX.

2.6. Testing

The Contractor shall conduct an operational check of all equipment and connections to ensure proper function of the contracting items and will make any necessary adjustments/repairs prior to installations and commencement of work.

2.7. Hours of Operation

The Contractor shall have access to the site from (Monday through Friday, 0730-1630hrs

- CST), (excluding Saturday, Sunday, and federal holidays). The Contractor shall report to the site Facility Manager at the beginning of each day prior to the start of any work and at the end of each day prior to departing to discuss progress. The Facility Manager for this project is Major Harris (737 TRSS/DO). Contact information will be provided upon award of contract.

Anticipated observed holidays:

25 May – Memorial Day 04 July – Independence Day

2.8. Warranty

Manufacturer’s warranties shall be included in the final price along with contact information and operation manuals (if any).

2.9. Site Tour

Upon request, a tour of the facility/site may be conducted to accommodate delivery and installation planning.

3. ACCEPTANCE

Upon completion of the work, the unit shall be subject to a final acceptance test performed by a 502 Contracting Officer and the Facility Manager or their designee.
