JBSA Lackland, TX 78236 Shower Trailers
ADA Mobile Shower/Trailer shall adhere to current ADA requirements and include the following:
1. No more than a total of 500 Sq Feet.
2. Shall be ADA compliant
3. Shall meet all Commercial Electrical, Plumbing, and other applicable Building codes.
4. Ramp for both wheelchair and crutch access
5. Full-flushing porcelain toilets
6. Fully operational sinks with running water
7. Hand towel holder and hand soap dispenser
8. Air conditioning and heat
9. Low-level outdoor lighting
10. Occupancy light indicators
11. Dual Handrails
12. Mirror above each sink
13. Power/water supply hookups
14. Rubberized/non-slip flooring
15. Lockable/securable access to all restrooms and maintenance room/space
16. Fencing to secure exterior equipment as required (not required if equipment is stored within trailer)
17. Male and female signage/graphic
18. Serial number/equipment ID as required
19. Fire hydrant – fittings/connections for Water
20. Frame skirts (as necessary, e.g. if trailer is >12 off ground or similar)
21. Pending trailer height, ramp/platform for crutch access
22. HVAC/ventilation system
23. Vendor installation, setup,
24. Maintenance guide/documentation and warranty standard to commercial market or better.
25. 4x 110 plugs per trailer that are feeding 20 amp circuits
