Employee Break/Snack Area: Employee break/snack area is located within Room 1141, is provided and is the only area where food is authorized.

Question: Are the appliances such as refrigerator, microwave and other items Government furnished items?

GOVT RESPONSE
Yes. Items in the snack/break area are furnished by the Government.
3.3
Government Furnished Property (GFP Attachment 2):

Question: Is the USG providing laptops or desktop computers for government related work?

GOVT RESPONSE
No, the contractor is responsible for their computers, printers, copiers, and paper products.
3.4
3.4. Services: The Government will provide utilities, which include electricity and water; Class C Telephone; refuse collection; insect/rodent control and security police and fire protection.

Question: Is the government providing internet connection WIFI or Cable?

GOVT RESPONSE
No, the contractor is responsible for their internet and or Wi-Fi services.

1.4.1 & 3.2
Personnel: The Government will have the right to restrict the employment under the contract of any Contractor employee, or prospective employee, who is identified as a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the installation and its population. All personnel are expected to promote professional relationships and adhere to workplace policies and procedures. Ensure employees are kept informed of the standards of conduct and treat all employees and customers with dignity, respect and consideration. Comply with safety and health standards set for the job environment.

Facilities & Safety: The Government will furnish Building 5725, Room 1141, (approximately 7,470 square feet) for use by the Contractor in the performance of this contract. This space shall be used solely and completely to support the requirements of this contract. Facilities have been inspected for compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). No hazards have been identified for which workarounds have been established. The Government corrects OSHA hazards in accordance with base wide Government developed and approved plans of abatement taking into account safety and health priorities.

With the advent of COVID 19 impacting operations and creating the need for new safety and health policies/procedures creates the need for additional Personal Protective Equipment and other items In order to be compliant to those directives.

Question: Currently on some of our key contracts with DOD the USG is furnishing those items at no cost to the contractor or making those items reimbursable. Are those PPE items and other items furnished by the USG?

GOVT RESPONSE
No, offerors are expected to provide PPE and related items and proposals should be reflective of this requirement.

Note: The final contract award will be reflective of all Q&A responses issued during this solicitation process.
