AMENDMENT 01

The purpose of this Amendment is to provide answers to questions regarding the Statement of Work

(SOW). The changes are bolded and underlined in the attached revised SOW. This amendment also changes the NAICS code from 541350, Building Inspection Services with a Small Business Size Standard of

$8M to 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing with a Small Business Size

Standard of 750 Employees.

1. As a result of the changes herein, the quote due date is extended to 14 May 2020 at 4:30 PM CT.

Question (Q) 1: Section 2.2.2 states: “Inspect and re‐torque all bolts on all sunshades to American

Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) standards. Clearly mark each bolt with the torque value/date with a red indelible ink marker immediately following inspection of each individual bolt. Identify sun shades with missing bolts." Is it the government's intent to have ALL bolts on ALL sunshades re‐torqued and marked as annotated in this section?

Answer (A) 1: The re‐torqueing of bolts has been revised to read “tighten all bolts”, and the requirement to mark the bolts has been removed.

Q2: Can you please clarify what constitutes a "minor repair"? Section 2.2 states that all area listed below need to be inspected and minor repairs need to be performed.

A2: Section 2.2 has been changed to remove “perform minor repairs”.

Q3: In the same vein as question 2, Corrosion is listed as an item that needs to be inspected for and minor repairs need to be performed however the check list states that all corrosion will only be documented. Please clarify the intent.

A3: Same answer as question 2.

Q4: How many gutters are there? ANSWER PENDING

Q5: Are all bolts on all gutters to be tightened? ANSWER PENDING

Q6: Is there a torque spec for the gutters? ANSWER PENDING

Q7: Bird Mitigation systems, if there are holes or sections that are not secure is that a minor repair or does that need to be documented? If it is minor repair please provide photos of all the bird netting so a price can be put to repairs. ANSWER PENDING, however, there is no “netting” in the bird mitigation system.
