Question 6: When submitting a quotation – is the Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) – able to provide products manufactured by a large business?
Government response: All products shall be manufactured by the bidding WOSB or acquired through another Small Business manufacturer.
Question 7: Can you please advise if product manufactured in the following Qualifying Countries would be acceptable and receive equal preference to American made furniture? Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Government response: Suppliers shall be listed under qualifying countries on order to be considered acceptable and receive equal preference. Any product manufactured outside of a qualifying country will not be considered.
Question 8: Is the site visit mandatory?
Government response: No.
Question 9: Is there a delivery timeframe for this solicitation?
Government response: Delivery timeframes will be determined based off manufacturing availability.
Question 10: Is this solicitation being considered under the Buy American Act? Only domestically manufactured end products allowed?
Government response: Yes, reference the clause section in the solicitation.
Question 11: “They appear to spec K&L for the bedframe who recently went out of business. We don’t offer a bed that meet these specs. This bunk bed is asking for a round tube with steel decks and adjustable brackets.
Our bunk bed is a square tube bed with non-adjustable spring decks (see the attached description from GSA advantage). I talked to production and they can supply steel decks but they will not be adjustable.
Do you think JBSA Lackland would accept a bunk bed with non-adjustable steel decks as long as the overall length of the bed does not exceed 79” in length.”
Please confirm if this is acceptable to the Government.

Question 12: Do you have floor and building plans (AS BUILT) including dimensions of doors and fire escapes?

Question 13: My Question is . if its possible that we can pick up or take a close look on the H Chair at any place near our factory ?
Government response: Review the solicitation and reference attachment two, “Technical Specifications.” No samples will not be provided to manufactures.
Question 14: Will you consider a quote from our metal furniture partner in Italy?
Government response: See response to question 7.
Question 15: Is there any chance a "Individual waiver" will be attached to both of these solicitations for the Wall Lockers?
Government response: Answers will only be given to this solicitation individually (FA3016-18-Q- 0011). Questions on any previous solicitations are not applicable to this Q&A session.
