Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act

This is a wage determination document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration for Mississippi counties (Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson) under the Service Contract Act. The document, identified as Wage Determination No. 2015-5147 (Revision 29, dated May 13, 2026), establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract work performed in the specified geographic area.

The wage determination provides detailed occupational classifications across multiple service categories including administrative support, clerical occupations, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information and arts occupations, information technology, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning, machine tool operations, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs occupations, plant and system operations, protective service, recreation occupations, stevedoring and longshoring, technical occupations, and transportation and mobile equipment operations. Wage rates vary by occupational level (typically ranging from approximately $11 to $46 per hour), with associated fringe benefits including health and welfare coverage at $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, $222 weekly, or $962 monthly) or $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13786. All occupations receive a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually plus earned paid vacation based on tenure (1 week after 1 year, up to 4 weeks after 15 years). Contractors must comply with Executive Orders 13706 and 13658 regarding paid sick leave, and certain positions such as exempt computer professionals and air traffic controllers receive special pay provisions including night differential and Sunday premium pay at 25 percent of base rate.
