About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Request for Information (RFI) related to sports officiating services for adult intramural, varsity, and sports day competitions.
The requirement encompasses officiating and scorekeeping services across three program categories: Intramural Sports (116 total games including basketball, soccer, flag football, and volleyball), Varsity Sports (25 tournament games), and Sports Day (7 hours across three sports with TBD game quantities). Intramural officiating requires 2 officials per game for most sports, with scorekeepers for basketball and volleyball. Varsity tournament basketball requires 3 officials and 1 scorer, while flag football and soccer require 2 officials each. Sports Day events require 4 officials per hour across multiple courts. The incumbent contract number is FA281624C0029, with a previous 5-year award amount of $42,850. This is a firm fixed-price contract placing maximum risk and full cost responsibility on the contractor. Officials must possess current certification, registration, or membership with a recognized basketball officiating organization. All games serve adult participants only, with no youth involvement. Quotes must be submitted on SF Form 1449, which will be updated to match Appendix B specifications in the Statement of Work. PEM meetings may be conducted in person or virtually. The government has confirmed funding availability based on an Independent Government Estimate, with the scope of work remaining similar to the previous contract with clarifications added regarding contracting policies and work requirements.
