FA2521-17-B-0008 – Hangar U, FAC 1744

QUESTION AND ANSWER

Question 1: After obtaining waste classification results for the oil absorbant material (Flag Note

2), will this material be collected and turned over to the Hangar U satellite location for disposal in accordance with OPLAN 19-14 Annex D & E?

Ref: SOW/Technical Specification/Drawings paragraph/page _Sheet H-101 Flag Notes 2

Other (Specify): 45 SW OPLAN 19-14

Answer: 1 If contractor anticipates multiple drums of oily absorbent wastes, then that will be directed to a site other than Hgr U. If less than a drum of waste, yes classified oily absorbent pads can be placed in that waste stream. Either disposition needs to be coordinated with Rebecca Fafard, 321-853-6988.

Contractor will need to provide drum and blue nonhaz label for pickup.

Question 2: The Wicket Door Schedule on Sheet A102 note the door and frame to be mill finish.

However, in the remarks column it notes "door/frame shall be shop primed and field painted to match existing". It appears these conflict each other.

Answer 2a: Primed and painted to match existing
