FA2487‐20‐R‐0009 Question and Answer Posting 1 21 October 2019

The following is a posting of questions received in response to Solicitation FA2487‐20‐R‐0009, and Government Responses. Additional Postings will be made as required, in response to any further questions.

Question Response Is this data maintenance support a 24/7 project? This is not for 24/7 support requirements.

Which commercial software must be purchased under this contract?

The software licenses required could be for any commercial software that a supported Government office determines they need. There is no specific list of software that may be licensed.

Approximately how many software licenses are being maintained?

Approximately 40,000 licenses are maintained in SALSA, with 26,949 being renewed in Fiscal Year 19

On average, how many are renewed per month? Approximately 2300. This is an average, the actual number renewed can be above or below this.

How long does it take to get access to the SALSA database? Receiving access to the SALSA database takes a couple of days, for those with an active Common Access Card (CAC) and approved base computer access.

Are the contract positions considered to be full time on‐ site?

Please reference Solicitation Attachment 5, "Addendum to 52.212‐1", Page 3, "Volume II ‐ Technical Proposal", Paragraph 4, for information regarding the current contractor support.

Is there a separate contract vehicle that will be used to acquire software licenses?

No. This contract will be the vehicle by which software licenses can be acquired.

Is this same work being performed under an active contract?

Yes. FA2487‐17‐D‐0001

What number of contractor personnel are used on the current contract?
