About this file

This document is an Amendment 1 Answers to Questions for Solicitation FA240125Q0003, a federal contract for SDA North Office Furniture. The amendment addresses three vendor questions regarding furniture installation and logistics. Key details include: office furniture will be installed on the first and second floors of a building, with the largest conference table located on the first floor. An elevator is available but is standard-sized, not a freight elevator. The front entrance has double doors without a middle bar, which allows for larger furniture pieces to be moved inside. The solicitation involves a HON Preside table (Item 10), and the government has confirmed that a 144" table with two power/data cutouts is acceptable. Attachments D and E (Office Furniture Requirements and Pricing Sheet) have been updated to reflect this clarification.

FA240125Q0003 SDA North Office Furniture

Solicitation - FA240125Q0003 Amendment 1 Answers to Questions

Question 1: For the HON Preside table Item 10, the 144" table usually comes with 2 cutouts for the power/data, since the top comes in 2 72" sections. Is this acceptable or do you need the 3 power/data?

Response: Yes, two (2) cutouts are acceptable. Attachment D – Office Furniture Requirements and Attachment E – SDA-N Office Furniture Pricing Sheet has been updated accordingly.

Question 2: For installation, what floor of the building will everything be installed? If above the 1st is there an elevator?

Response: Office furniture will be installed on the first and second floor; the largest conference table is on the first floor. There is an elevator available, but it is just a normal size elevator, not a freight elevator.

Question 3: Is there a loading dock at the building?

Response: No, but the doors in the front are double doors with no middle bar, so larger pieces can fit through that door.
