About this file

This document is a security information guide for contractors and visitors accessing Grand Forks Air Force Base (AFB), specifically for the Space Development Agency (SDA). The document details comprehensive entry and access requirements, including mandatory identification (one form of government-issued, unexpired photo ID), prohibited items, base entry procedures, and traffic regulations. Key requirements include having an authorized sponsor with a Common Access Card (CAC), undergoing an NCIC background check, obtaining a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) card for stays over 60 days, and adhering to specific traffic rules such as speed limits, seat belt usage, and emergency vehicle protocols. For controlled or restricted areas, visitors must check in with the SDA Security Manager, complete necessary paperwork, and may require an Entry Authority List (EAL) or restricted area badge depending on the duration of their stay.
