About this file

This document appears to be a Question and Answer (Q&A) session related to a federal contract opportunity for 4 Emergency Center Consoles.

The Q&A clarifies that the acoustic paneling required is similar to partitions and must absorb sound waves to prevent echoes. It confirms that two acoustic panels are required at either end of the desks, and that the work surface and monitor mechanism for each workstation must be individually electronically height adjustable.

The related federal contract opportunity is for the Department of the Air Force Reserve Command to procure 4 sit-to-stand dual-surface 24/7 dispatch consoles and 4 24/7 dispatch chairs for a new Emergency Communications Center. The consoles will consist of curved end units holding five 24" monitor racks and straight units holding three 24" monitor racks, with separate CPU storage. The minimum work surface dimensions are specified. The 24-hour dispatch chairs must be highly durable and have a minimum 550 lb weight capacity with a 26" minimum seat width.
