About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation F3ST904352A001 regarding FY25 UILS Lodging at Scott Air Force Base. The document addresses two key questions about the hotel requirements for the International Logistics Symposium.

The Q&A clarifies that the selected hotel must be within a specified mileage distance from Scott AFB since government transportation will be provided between the hotel and the Duane Cassidy Conference Center during the event. It also addresses payment procedures, stating that while some international guests may not have U.S.-recognized credit cards, the government will handle reconciliation of any additional charges or damages identified after checkout through itemized billing.

F3ST904352A001 FY25 UILS Lodging QUESTIONS

Does the hotel selected need to be within a certain mileage distance from the Duane Cassidy Conference Center on Scott AFB?

The hotel does need to be within a certain mileage distance of Scott AFB, as specified in the requirements, this is due to government transportation will be provided to the guest for the hotel to the DCCC for each day of our event.

Can we collect a credit card from guests upon check-in? According to the Q&A you are requesting an itemized bill for incidentals, but by that point, the guest would have already checked out. How would we then provide them with the bill? Would this bill go to the Air Force and are we guaranteed payment?

The guests that are staying in the hotel are coming from various nations and some will not have credit cards that are recognized in the US. If there is an itemized bill after checkout for damages, the government will reconcile any additional financial obligations.
