About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for federal contract solicitation F3N7G46159A002 issued by 496 Air Base Squadron for the Morón AB Landing Zone Operations Kit.
The primary products required are two Rolatube antenna mast systems: (1) one 3.5-meter squad antenna system operating in the 136-470MHz frequency range (part number 952-203501), and (2) one 7-meter integrated antenna mast system (IAM-D) operating in the 30-88MHz and 225-512MHz frequency ranges (part number 952-307005). The 7-meter system must be supplied with integrated antennas rather than as a mast-only configuration. The systems must be compatible with existing PRC-152 and PRC-163 radio equipment, with no additional connectors or hardware required. Supporting components specified include a stainless steel 24-inch extension rod, a 1/4-inch hex key (Allen wrench), a 9/16-inch open-end wrench, a rubber gasket ring for a disposable cone with no specific size requirement, and two locking pins with clips. The Contracting Officer, SSgt Vida M. Mata, USAF, clarified technical specifications and component requirements in response to vendor inquiries regarding system configurations, frequency bands, part numbers, and hardware specifications.
